Dining and Receptions
We are proud to operate Glyndebourne’s two on-site restaurants, where experiences can range from a relaxed afternoon tea to sumptuous fine dining, this year in partnership with Michelin-starred chefs, the Galvin Brothers.
We are proud to operate Glyndebourne’s two on-site restaurants, where experiences can range from a relaxed afternoon tea to sumptuous fine dining, this year in partnership with Michelin-starred chefs, the Galvin Brothers.
The Galvin Brothers bring their modern British style to Middle & Over Wallop, our fine-dining restaurant. The exclusively curated menu feature a selection of their signature dishes as served at their Michelin-starred restaurant, Galvin La Chapelle.
Dishes reflect the best of locally sourced ingredients and its kitchen is very much the culinary epicentre of Glyndebourne. Surrounded by memorabilia from previous productions and lit by Swarovski crystal chandeliers, the ambience created is one of elegance and refinement in which to enjoy a three-course seasonal gastronomic experience.
Mildmay serves traditional British cuisine in a relaxed dining atmosphere. The restaurant’s classical approach is both casual and charming and features our popular fish pie and beef Wellington, showcasing locally sourced ingredients from Sussex and the South Coast.
The informal setting is ideal for diners looking for a comfortable and cosy experience with familiar fare and friendly table service.
Our team have worked hard to develop a picnic that embraces the festival tradition, such a key and much loved part of the Glyndebourne experience.
The Traditional Picnic features sharing treats that you might find in a carefully packed homemade picnic. All freshly prepared daily using local suppliers.
Glyndebourne hosts a variety of events throughout the year, including the Glyndebourne Opera Cup, Christmas Concerts, Community Operas and study events. A wide range of different dining options are available to accompany these events.
