A win for our Culinary Director, Adam Thomason at the Craft Guild of Awards 2025

There were celebrations all round at the 2025 Craft Guild of Chefs Awards!

This prestigious event gives a well-deserved spotlight on the passion, dedication and creativity of culinary professionals across our industry.

We’re incredibly proud to share that our very own Culinary Director, Adam Thomason, was honoured with the Contract Catering Chef Award — a recognition he truly deserves.

Adam’s leadership is both inspiring and energising. His focus and determination continue to raise the bar for culinary excellence. What truly shines, however, is his remarkable ability to bring out the best in those around him. Through his commitment to mentorship and knowledge-sharing, he has created a culture at Restaurant Associates where individuals are motivated to excel, not just for themselves, but for one another. It’s this spirit of shared ambition and passion for creating memorable, delicious food that forms the foundation of our continued success.

In his own words, after receiving the award: "Just being nominated for Contract Catering Chef of the Year felt like a massive honour. It's a lovely thing to be recognised by your peers, but more than that, it was a rare chance to spend proper time with like-minded chefs. Great food, brilliant people and a room full of energy and passion. 

"These things are never just about one person. I've got an incredibly team around me who show up every day with passion and purpose, so I would say this one belongs to all of us. Humbled to pick it up and celebrate with such good people. At Restaurant Associates, our number one priority is food. It really is that simple. I genuinely believe that holding on to that simple rule helps us all stay focused on what matters - creating great tasting food, time after time."
