About us

Since its inception in the early 1950s, Restaurant Associates has had collaboration at the heart of everything we do. Our founders brought culinary expertise in from our own set of Manhattan’s most famous landmarks including ‘Brasserie’ (the first 24-hour restaurant) and the ‘Four Seasons’ (infamous home of the business power lunch).

Together the team carved an unrivalled reputation running restaurants and cafes in some of the most prestigious cultural venues in New York City, these include Lincoln Center and the Guggenheim Museum.

Our unique approach reached UK shores in 2001, now operating in treasured venues and attractions as well as some of the best corporate offices across the country. What fueled success in our infancy still makes us different today – our clients and collective intent to do great things.

Today we collaborate with some of the most exciting names within the culinary world; Jason Atherton, Michel Roux Jr. and Dipna Anand, to name just a few.
Our business is focused on putting our customers first and creating exceptional experiences throughout our Estate. Food brings us together for a fun and common good; nourishing us to enable happy and healthy lives.

Culture

In order for our teams to do their best work, it is of paramount importance that we create a happy and productive culture were associates can bring their authentic selves to work.

The key to this is by embracing diversity and inclusion, appreciating the unique needs, perspectives, and potential of all our team. As a business, we celebrate entrepreneurial spirit and promote openness and respect to create great things together.

We are proud to attract the industry’s top talent because we invest in our people, recognise great work when we see it and provide plenty of opportunities for career growth. It makes the world of difference. Because when people are happy and satisfied it shines through. They go the extra mile, creating new ways to brighten every day for our clients and their guests.
