Expanding Our Partnership with the Royal Air Force Museum in London

There’s something special about working in places that already carry so much history, and this next step is exactly that.
After building a strong relationship at the RAF Museum Midlands, a new three-year contract at the Royal Air Force Museum London marks an exciting continuation of that partnership.
It’s a natural progression, rooted in a shared understanding of how thoughtful hospitality can sit comfortably within a heritage setting.
RAF Museum London, based in Colindale on a former RAF airfield, is unlike anywhere else in the capital. It brings the story of the Royal Air Force to life through an extraordinary collection of aircraft and immersive exhibitions that draw visitors into moments of innovation, courage and change. Every visit offers something different, shaped by the scale of the hangars and the presence of aircraft that have defined generations.
Alongside the exhibitions, visitors can stop by Hendon Kitchen and the AeroPlay! Café, relaxed, family-friendly spaces serving light bites and canteen-style meals made with quality British ingredients. The museum also hosts corporate events, offering a striking setting for meetings, dinners and evening receptions surrounded by some of the world’s most iconic aircraft. We look forward to supporting venue hire and providing our premium conference and event catering.

This new partnership is an opportunity to build on what already works well, while shaping something that feels right for London.
Richard Herring, Business Director for Restaurant Associates Venues, says: “This new contract really strengthens our trusted partnership with RAF Museums. Bringing our expertise to RAF Museum London allows us to deliver what we do best – developing strong conferences and events businesses in unique heritage settings, while elevating the visitor experience. We’re looking forward to creating something personal and distinctive for the London museum, delivering a genuinely warm and welcoming offer that sits naturally within this iconic and inspiring space.”
Barry Smitch, Director of Visitor and Commercial development also commented: “Restaurant Associates Venues has been a valued partner at our Midlands site, and we are delighted to be extending this relationship to RAF Museum London. Their understanding of our unique environment and commitment to high-quality, visitor-focused hospitality makes them an excellent fit for this iconic site. As we continue to enhance our offer for both day visitors and corporate clients, we look forward to working together to create a welcoming, memorable experience that complements the rich history and inspiration of the Royal Air Force.”
Work will now begin on shaping a hospitality offer that reflects both the scale of the museum and the expectations of its visitors, while supporting its growing events programme.
We can’t wait to get started!
