Yesterday, Restaurant Associates Group hosted its annual conference at Unity Place in Milton Keynes.
It was a jam-packed day where associates had the opportunity to connect, network, and hear directly from our senior leadership team about our strategy and direction of travel.
The agenda was full of action, with thoughtfully curated workshops led by our HSE and ESG teams, as well as powerful discussions around Diversity, Equity & Inclusion.
Food, as ever, played a central role. Grazing and Rocket wowed with a delicious lunch and canapé selection, while our new Mexican supplier, Masafina, delivered an authentic feast full of vibrant flavours and nutritious ingredients. Chef Steve Groves rounded off the afternoon with a stunning selection of tarts that brought a sweet close to the day.
A huge thank you to the team at Unity Place, our amazing DEI networks, and to Alex Barker from for her original and inspiring talk —which reminded us that when the rules and conventions that support our systems and business models no longer serve people or the planet, it’s time to imagine and build new ones.
