We are proud to operate The Switchboard Café at Churchill War Rooms. Inspired by the hidden infrastructure that kept the underground headquarters running during the Second Word War, the café reflects the character of the wartime bunker while creating a comfortable place to relax. The design takes its lead from the switchboards, signalling systems and functional workspaces that once played a vital role behind the scenes. The café serves a selection of British classics including Steak & Ale Pie, Smoked Chalkstream Trout and Dig for Victory Soup of the Day alongside homemade cakes and freshly prepared sandwiches.
