Six Nominations At This Year's Foodservice Cateys Awards

We are delighted to share the news that Restaurant Associates UK and Rapport Guest Services have been shortlisted for six prestigious awards at this year's Foodservice Cateys Awards. This incredible recognition highlights the team’s hardwork, dedication and unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional service and innovation to our clients and across all our venues.

The nominations include:

🏆 Best Use of Innovative Technology Award
🏆 Business and Industry Caterer of the Year
🏆 Front of House Team of the Year
🏆 General Manager of the Year
🏆 People and Training Award
🏆 CSER Award

Our exceptional General Manager at the Royal Armouries Museum Leeds, Benjamin Campbell is one of the nominees in the ‘General Manager of the Year’ category and is truly deserving - his dedication, leadership, and commitment to excellence have been instrumental in delivering outstanding experiences for our guests. Moreover, Ben has truly epitomised the phrase 'going above and beyond'. This can be seen through his ongoing work with local organisations like Leeds City Council and Leeds BID, managing a £1.2 million redevelopment of event spaces across the venue, and championing community support through the Schools and Hospitality Programme.

Ben shares his appreciation: "Being shortlisted for General Manager of the Year is an incredible honour. This achievement reflects the collective efforts of our entire team at the Royal Armouries, Leeds. I am thankful for their ongoing support and dedication, which make our success possible. Looking ahead we have exciting plans for development of the business which builds on our fantastic results to drive even more growth opportunities”.

In the category of Front of House Teams, one of Rapport Guest Services teams has also received recognition. Ivan Riesgo, Belinda Riobueno, Renata Ruiz, Natalie Tam, Lillo Bonfiglo, and Ana Lopes are a formidable team for a global investment client located in Pall Mall, London.

Working hard to implement meaningful initiatives that promote sustainability and inclusivity in the workplace, such as eliminating paper use, introducing sustainable luggage tags (helping the client to save 1200 tags per year) and compiling a "Diary of Kindness" to educate employees on the value of kindness in creating a supportive and caring work environment. It’s no wonder they have been recognised at Rapport's own Excellence Awards.

The team's professionalism and cohesion are demonstrated by the client's high admiration for them. “This team is A* in everything they do. Individually they are all exceptional but collectively they are perfection. They are exceptional at using each other’s strengths to create something truly amazing in all areas of service that they deliver. They consistently go above and beyond to support the business. No request is too small, and I particularly appreciate how they always aim to add that personal touch.”

Congratulations to all the nominees. We look forward to celebrating everyone’s achievements at the awards ceremony in October. Best of luck team!
