Hever Castle, located in the heart of idyllic Kent countryside. Hever Castle dates back to 1270 and has played host to many important events and celebrations for over 700 years.

Today the Astor Wing together with the Guthrie Pavilion in the Italian Garden and areas of the Castle itself are available for corporate and private events. Each venue has its own unique character and offers peace, privacy and seclusion in one of the most historic and beautiful settings in England.

Moat Restaurant 

We are proud to operate the Moat Restaurant that serves a seasonal menu, freshly prepared every day by our skilled team of chefs. Using only the finest British produce with local suppliers where possible, the menu features nutritious salads, tasty pasta dishes and a wide range of beverages from barista-made coffee to quality wines.

The Guthrie Pavilion

The Guthrie Pavilion Cafe serves a selection of cakes, sandwiches, hot and cold drinks. The Guthrie Pavilion Restaurant is also available for Afternoon Tea, located next to the Italian Garden.

The Loggia Bar

A new prosecco bar is now open on the Loggia terrace, overlooking the Italian Garden's lake.

The Astor Wing

An Edwardian wing of the Castle, built in Tudor style, can accommodate events for up to 60 delegates, with an impressive oak panelled suite of three interconnecting meeting rooms. The Tudor Suite offers not only peace, privacy and space to spread out, but also state of the art projection facilities in an historic, beautiful venue.

The Guthrie Pavilion

Located in the Italian Garden, is a contemporary, light and airy conference and event venue providing the perfect location for groups of up to 200 delegates. Palladian in style, this modern facility is surrounded by award-winning gardens, and offers an abundance of natural daylight.

Christmas Celebrations

Christmas parties with roaring log fires, candlelight, twinkling Christmas trees and seasonal carols await your arrival at Hever Castle over the festive season.

As dusk falls, the gardens and grounds are spectacularly transformed into an illuminated winter wonderland. With two award-winning venues on offer to choose from, Hever Castle can host festive drinks receptions and sumptuous banquets in the historic surrounds of the Astor Wing and the Castle Dining Hall or a dinner dance in the Guthrie Pavilion.

Both venues will be adorned with traditional Christmas decorations and Christmas trees and a selection of festive entertainment can be arranged from a Tudor Minstrel to a live band.
