Imperial War Museum Duxford is Europe's largest air museum. Walk through the same hangars and buildings as those who served at RAF Duxford. See aircraft take to the skies from the airfield where Spitfires first flew. Get up close to over a century of aviation. 

This Second World War Battle of Britain fighter station has been transformed into an impressive events space, rich in heritage and home to over 100 aircraft – including the iconic Lancaster, Spitfire and Concorde. Whether you’re organising a meeting for 10, a conference for 350, or a gala dinner for 500, it’s a location to delight and inspire your guests.

The Workshop Restaurant

Situated in what was once the historic parachute workshop. Freshly cooked American classics, museum favourites and generous sharing platters are available at the fully licensed restaurant. 

The Armoury Cafe & Kitchen

A friendly and welcoming space that offers a delicious range of barista-made beverages, light refreshments and tempting treats. 

The American Cafe

The perfect pitstop for guests looking for a relaxing break whilst exploring this unique venue. Chocolate chip cookies, Nutella brownies and freshly prepared sandwiches are in abundance at this charming cafe.

Meetings and Conferences

IWM Duxford features a purpose-built Conference Centre housed within our award winning AirSpace exhibition hangar, ideal for large conferences and meetings. The Conference Centre boasts eight individual rooms, designed for groups of five to 100 and is complemented by the Marshall Auditorium, a tiered lecture theatre which seats up to 200 delegates.

Adjacent to the AirSpace exhibition, the Conservation Hall is our largest event area. This versatile space comfortably accommodates up to 800 delegates, with breakout and plenary rooms available in the Conference Centre. It is a blank canvas space that can also be used to host exhibitions and product launches.

Dining and Receptions

The American Air Museum is our largest event area. This versatile exhibition space comfortably accommodates up to 500 guests in al-fresco dining or 350 for a three-course dinner. The American Air Museum is a dramatic exhibition home to some of the most iconic American-Anglo aircrafts. This is perhaps one of the most unique dining experiences currently on offer, and there is no finer way to dine than under the wings of the B-17 Flying Fortress.

Airspace is our other dramatic exhibition, home to over 30 iconic aircrafts including the Lancaster, Spitfire and Concorde. Treat yourself and your guests to an arrival drink under our Lancaster, followed dinner/dance under the wings of our Concorde. Suitable for up to 120 guests, this experience is sure to make a life-long memory.

Our purpose-built and recently refurbished Conference Centre is housed within our award-winning Airspace exhibition hangar. Ideal for large conferences and small meetings, we can house from 10-210 through our eight individual rooms and our Marshall Auditorium.

Christmas Celebrations

‘A unique and memorable Christmas experience with exclusive access to the Airspace hangar, specular atmospheric lighting within AirSpace projecting onto over 30 classic aircraft.

Welcome your guests with a glass of prosecco under the iconic Concorde. Then, for one final time, we welcome you to a three-course dinner in the transformed Conservation Hall and then hit the dancefloor to dance the night away.
