Dining at IWM Duxford
We are proud to operate the restaurants and cafés across IWM Duxford, offering visitors a range of welcoming spaces to relax and enjoy freshly prepared food and drink during their day out.
19 Squadron Restaurant: Situated in what was once the historic parachute workshop, the restaurant offers a relaxed dining experience with a menu of freshly prepared favourites, from burgers and chargrilled dishes to lighter salads and family-friendly options.
Spitfire Cafe: Inspired by the legendary Spitfire aircraft, the cafe is a family-friendly space serving a range of freshly prepared favourites including toasties, jacket potatoes and pizzas.
The American Cafe: Located inside the American Air Museum, this is the perfect pitstop for guests looking for a relaxing break whilst exploring this unique venue. Visitors can enjoy barista-made drinks, freshly prepared sandwiches and a selection of sweet treats whilst overlooking iconic aircraft.

Summer Events
Make this summer’s celebration stand out in an extraordinary setting. Host your event beneath historic aircraft and soaring hangars, creating a striking backdrop for an evening of great food, drinks and entertainment.
Guests can enjoy a relaxed BBQ or vibrant seasonal buffet, paired with refreshing arrival drinks and the option to enhance the atmosphere with music and a dancefloor. Dedicated event management ensures every detail is carefully delivered, so you can focus on bringing colleagues and clients together for a summer party to remember.
Meetings and Conferences
IWM Duxford features a purpose-built Conference Centre housed within our award winning AirSpace exhibition hangar, ideal for large conferences and meetings. The Conference Centre boasts eight individual rooms, designed for groups of five to 100 and is complemented by the Marshall Auditorium, a tiered lecture theatre which seats up to 200 delegates.
Adjacent to the AirSpace exhibition, the Conservation Hall is our largest event area. This versatile space comfortably accommodates up to 800 delegates, with breakout and plenary rooms available in the Conference Centre. It is a blank canvas space that can also be used to host exhibitions and product launches.
Dining & Receptions
The American Air Museum is our largest event area. This versatile exhibition space comfortably accommodates up to 500 guests in al-fresco dining or 350 for a three-course dinner. The American Air Museum is a dramatic exhibition home to some of the most iconic American-Anglo aircrafts. This is perhaps one of the most unique dining experiences currently on offer, and there is no finer way to dine than under the wings of the B-17 Flying Fortress.
Airspace is our other dramatic exhibition, home to over 30 iconic aircrafts including the Lancaster, Spitfire and Concorde. Treat yourself and your guests to an arrival drink under our Lancaster, followed dinner/dance under the wings of our Concorde. Suitable for up to 120 guests, this experience is sure to make a life-long memory.
Our purpose-built and recently refurbished Conference Centre is housed within our award-winning Airspace exhibition hangar. Ideal for large conferences and small meetings, we can house from 10-210 through our eight individual rooms and our Marshall Auditorium.
