Hinxton Hall
The Hinxton Hall estate is a Cambridge events venue come architectural marvel. Blending cutting-edge, contemporary architecture with its Grade II listed country house, this world-class conference and events venue sits within 125 acres of idyllic countryside.
When you come to hire Hinxton Hall, you’ll have a huge selection of spaces to choose from - including the famous period Pompeiian room decorated in Roman style and the reason behind the house’s Grade II listing, plus the rooms inside Hinxton Hall Conference Centre. Opened in 2015 with state-of-the-art facilities, this building showcases an impressive elliptical roof of steel and glass which covers 1600m² of exhibition and breakout spaces.
Inside you’ll find a 300-seat auditorium with all the latest audiovisual capabilities, an exhibition space and 8 distinctive meeting rooms that can be set-up to accommodate between 2 and 120 people There’s also a 300-seat, garden-view restaurant and plenty of outdoor space for team-building activities and al fresco dining.
This well-placed venue is close to Cambridge centre and only a short drive from Great Chesterford Station and London Stansted Airport. There’s complimentary parking for 180 cars and even 126 luxury en-suite bookable bedrooms on-site offered as B&B accommodation – making this Cambridge venue hire a convenient choice for guests coming from afar.
Imperial War Museum (IWM), Duxford
If you’ve never considered hosting an event in an air museum, here’s your chance! In terms of location, IWM Duxford is in a great spot for Cambridge events. Located just south of the city from Junction 10 of the M11, IWM Duxford is easily accessible from London and the Midlands with ample free on-site parking. It’s also only 25 minutes from London Stansted airport.
