Hever Castle
If refined and Palladian is the look you’re after, it doesn’t get much better than The Guthrie Pavilion at Hever Castle. Architecturally refurbished in Palladian style with vaulted ceilings and floor to ceiling columns, this elegant space has been designed to complement the castle’s surrounding Italian gardens.
In the summer months, you can hire The Guthrie Pavilion in conjunction with its covered outside terrace, The Loggia – perfect for toasting champagne, dancing into the night or watching fireworks above the lake and Trevi inspired fountain.
IWM Duxford
An exhibition set against the backdrop of British and Commonwealth aviation history, from the earliest pioneers to the latest aircraft technology, IWM Duxford is a truly unique gala dinner venue.
In the dramatic AirSpace room, up to 1000 guests can dine under the wings of Concorde. Or if your event is set to be a more intimate occasion, guests can enjoy an exclusive after-hours tour of the AirSpace exhibition followed by dinner in the Airside Suite – featuring floor to ceiling windows and a private balcony overlooking an active runway.
M Shed
M Shed in Bristol started life as a 1950s transit shed and has since become a cultural landmark in this historic city. Inside, you’ll find high-spec facilities, cutting edge design and state of the art lighting.
Gala dinner events are held in the Event Suite, which boasts 300m2 of floor space, a private rooftop terrace and gorgeous panoramic views across Bristol’s iconic harbourside and city.
Glyndebourne
Dine within the walls of one of the finest opera houses in the world at Glyndebourne. Nestled in the heart of the Sussex countryside, this ideal gala dinner venue began with a love story in 1934 when founder John Christie met soprano Audrey Mildmay.
Refined menus and best in class hospitality go hand-in-hand at Glyndebourne, and with a choice of spaces to hire plus 12 acres of lush gardens, this spot should be top of the list for your gala dinner.
HMS Belfast
As one of the most renowned landmarks in London’s repertoire, this venue doesn’t need much of an introduction. The most significant surviving Second World War Royal Navy warship, HMS Belfast is packed with relics and brilliant conversation starters, as well as iconic decor that’s been retained throughout the years.
For a gala dinner, you can opt for exclusive hire of the entire venue and allow your guests to explore the ship after-hours. Alternatively, there’s ample space for up to 100 guests in the old officers’ mess which makes a great, historic space for pre-dinner drinks and special dining experiences.
